**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Electrician, you will inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment in assigned facilities.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
**What You’ll Do:**
Log work on ESA Contractor Services Program and work in compliance with Acts & Standards; Maintain a clean work environment and follow proper PPE and Occupational Health & Safety standards and regulations; Assistother employees/contractors/trades asrequired; Participate in review of operating policies/procedures including but not limited to Lock Out/Tag Out and Arc Flash training; Monitor work of contractors/external service providers to ensure adherence to standards; Revise documentation (drawings, specifications, O&M manuals, etc.) related to electrical systems; Provide feedback on proposed changes to electrical modifications re: impact on existing infrastructure systems ifrequired; Oversee inspection of high voltage switchgear; Oversee minor repairs/maintenance of UPS system; Conduct/oversee preventative/demand maintenance tasks on equipment such as building lighting systems, transfer switch, VFD, ballasts, motor controlcentres, breakers/switchboard components, fixtures, branch circuit wiring, transformers, capacitors, electrical and pneumatic control devices, etc. Troubleshoot, test and repair electrical issues on equipment; Keep all operating electrical equipment in safe and proper working condition; Other duties as assigned.Must be available for occasional shift coverage. Have knowledge and understanding of the Internal Responsibility System (IRS) in relation to the Occupational Health and Safety Act and attend all required Health and Safety training; Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the regulations including but not limitedto:use or wear of equipment or protective devices or clothing for safety purposes, report to their manager any contravention of this Act or regulations or the existence of any known hazards;
**What You’ll Need:**
+ Ontario Electrical trade certification; 309A or 442A
+ Previousexperience in facilities maintenance and operations;
+ Minimum 3year's experiencemaintainingand troubleshooting industrial/electrical equipment;
+ Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
Demonstrated capabilities re: accountability, judgement, decision-making, problem solving, etc.; Proven ability to effectively interact with clients, tenants,managementand staff; Proven ability to foster/develop/maintainrelationships with internal/external contacts; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook; Must be available to work overtime; Must have a valid driver’s license; Ability to work at Multiple locations.
