LEO Intermittent Lecturer Apply Now **Job Summary** This educationally focused position will contribute to the Development Summer Internship Program, which train and educate various constituents of the university on philanthropy and fundraising. Responsibilities include curriculum development, research, benchmarking, and teaching. The D-SIP Instructor will consult with various personnel in University Development involved with educational programs to support and enhance those efforts, and to contribute to consistent content and messaging. The working title for this position is D-SIP Instructor. Time Commitment: 8-12 hours/week Dates of Appt: May 1-July 31, 2026 **Responsibilities*** + Develop the curriculum and teach the educational component of the Development Summer Internship Program (D-SIP) + Partner with D-SIP Leadership Team to schedule guest speakers for curriculum/program + Coordinate with the Center for the Study of Higher & Postsecondary Education (CSHPE) on D-SIP and the Master's Concentration in Philanthropy, Advancement & Development to ensure interns earn credit toward graduation if desired + Maintain and grow strong relationship with constituencies, when necessary, primarily as a representative of D-SIP + As requested, review and supply current research, articles and book resources for specific development topics to be leveraged in other development training and talent managementactivities + Attend Orientation Week at the beginning of of the program (in-person) for 3-5 sessions, based on availability. **Required Qualifications*** + A Master's degree is required. Doctorate degree in progress. + Published research in the field of higher education philanthropy and nonprofit sector + Course development and teaching experience. + Demonstrated fundraising experience. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written), sound organizational abilities, a high level of sophistication and maturity in social and professional settings, and a high degree of creative initiative. + Discretion and an ability to interact with high-level donor information and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. **Modes of Work** Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
