Legal Operations Intern
**Job Title** Legal Operations Intern **Job Description Summary** Summer Interns are paid hourly and work up to 40 hours per week during the program. Interns will work closely with the Legal Operations team as active contributors, gaining hands-on exposure to how an in-house legal department operates. This role is designed to provide practical experience in legal operations, commercial legal processes, and corporate support functions, allowing interns to apply and share their learning beyond the internship. The Legal Operations Intern supports the Legal Operations team in enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of the Legal Department’s processes, systems, and tools. **Job Description** **Key Responsibilities:** + Conduct research, gather information, and analyze data to support legal operations initiatives and business needs + Assist internal stakeholders with the execution of day-to-day legal operational tasks + Respond to routine requests by providing accurate information and ensuring issues are escalated or resolved appropriately + Support legal operations workflows by following established processes, systems, and procedures + Assist in planning, tracking, and executing projects to support Legal Operations initiatives + Analyze legal and operational data, prepare reports, dashboards, and summaries, and identify insights to support decision-making + Track project timelines, deliverables, and key milestones + Generate and maintain monthly operational and performance reports + Review, reconcile, and assist in resolving internal or client-related issues + Support contract management, legal technology tools, and documentation processes + Assist managers with departmental goals, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives + Complete special projects related to legal operations, process improvement, analytics, or reporting **What You’ll Gain** + Exposure to legal operations and in-house corporate legal department functions + Insight into how legal teams use data to inform operational and business decisions + Networking opportunities with legal professionals and cross-functional teams **Qualifications & Required Skills** + Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or law degree (JD) or actively preparing to apply to law school, including LSAT preparation + Strong attention to detail is essential + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Demonstrated customer service mindset + Self-starter who is reliable, organized, and execution-focused + Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines + Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment Cushman & Wakefield also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life, and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time away from work. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
