Role and Responsibilities
Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is now accepting applications for its Summer 2026 Intern Program. This exciting opportunity offers a paid, 10-week experience for selected senior or recently graduated students. The program will run from June 1 to August 7.
Eligible students will be seniors or recent graduates, possess U.S. work authorization, and be able to work full-time on a 5-day-per-week on-site schedule. Additionally, participation in this program requires that you be located in the United States for the duration of the engagement.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so early submission is encouraged. The application window is open until March 15, 2026; however, it may close earlier if all available roles are filled. Applications submitted after the application window or once a role is closed/projects are full will not be considered.
The SEA Legal provides legal support across the SEA organization. The intern will to be asked to support projects across the legal team. Some of the projects will expose the intern to area of law (e.g., legal research, litigation, regulatory analysis, etc.) while other projects will focus on legal operations (i.e., how the legal department functions from an administrative standpoint).
Support contract review by examining standard, sample-type contracts and providing feedback to related business organizations.Assist in organizing feedback for simple, repetitive legal inquiries and provide support to related business organizations.Support responses to major disputes and government investigations.Identify and analyze regulatory trends (legislation and precedent) related to the company's business areas such as labor, environment, HR, and fair trade.Skills and Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Law, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.Strong analytical and research skills.Familiarity with legal terminology and concepts is a plus.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in legal research or internships in legal affairs.Knowledge of compliance operations and intellectual property management.Proficiency in document preparation and negotiation skills.Requirements:
Education: Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program, pursuing a relevant undergraduate or graduate degree, and will be in their final year of study or be a recent grad.
Work Authorization: Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the country where the internship is offered and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Duration and Availability: This is a 10-week program, and candidates must be available for the entire internship period, including SOE, Day of Service, etc.
Relevant Skillset: Specific skills or coursework relevant to the field may be required.

Conversion Eligibility: Candidates should be eligible for conversion to a Regular Full-Time (RFT) position for the next fiscal year.
Willingness to Relocate: Candidates from out of state must be open to relocation if required.
On-site Presence: The internship will require on-site presence at one of Samsung Electronics America, Inc.'s locations.
The hourly rate for this role is expected to be $36. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
