The Legal Intern will assist with legal research and writing, filings and corporate record keeping, and may also assist legal department in public policy advocacy. **Responsibilities & Duties:** + Preparing and maintaining corporate records, maintaining corporate minute books, assisting in drafting corporate minute meetings; + Assisting in the review of due diligence materials for mergers and acquisitions and commercial transactions; + Drafting supporting documentation for legal transactions; + Assisting in drafting of pleadings, briefs, demand letters, and other legal correspondence; + Researching legal questions and drafting legal memoranda; + Researching and drafting policy advocacy documents; + Researching and drafting materials for public education; + Assisting legal team members in company-wide initiatives (sustainability, knowledge management, etc); and general legal research and compiling of legal information  **Job Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree, and in the process of completing a Juris Doctor (JD) degree; + Excellent research, writing, analytical and communication skills; + The highest levels of initiative, creativity, and good judgment; + Well-organized, self-directed and able to complete multiple tasks in a timely and efficient manner; **Compensation:** + $21/hr READY TO JOIN A ROCK-SOLID FAMILY?
