Job Summary:
As a Vice President in the  Merchant Services Risk & Legal Entity Governance  team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our risk governance framework and supporting strategic business initiatives. You will work closely with leaders and stakeholders across the firm, gaining exposure to a growing and innovative business. You’ll help shape the team culture by fostering collaboration and continuous improvement. Your work will directly impact our ability to manage risk and support business expansion whilst ensuring appropriate controls and risk governance are always in place.

Job responsibilities

Enhance  and drive risk governance frameworks and reporting structures for Irish legal entities Reengineer legal entity risk identification, key risk indicators, and capital processes Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and governance teams Produce materials for management and board meetings in support of the CRO Present to legal entity Risk Committees and Board Meetings Support regulatory exams and manage ongoing regulatory reporting Oversee day-to-day risk management for EMEA merchant services clients Collaborate with sales teams, relationship managers, and clients to address risk issues Drive process improvements and support strategic risk initiatives Lead risk outsourcing governance ensuring best practices are followed and the risk teams outsourcing footprint and supporting documentation are in line with firm and regulatory expectations. 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

10+ years experience in financial services, risk, compliance, audit, or controls Experience of representing the business and presenting to senior executives. Knowledge of implementing effective control environments or governance frameworks in financial services Strong project management skills with ability to drive initiatives independently Proactive approach to identifying risks and solutions with attention to detail Excellent business judgment and stakeholder engagement skills Effective communication skills, both oral and written, at all organizational levels Experience creating presentation materials and drafting speaker notes for senior management meetings Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
