This position manages office administrative procedures for the General Counsel’s Office and provides a wide range of administrative support. Key responsibilities include routing, tracking, and archiving contracts, policy documents, records retention materials, and documents in a timely and organized manner.
The role also supports data practices requests and litigation discovery by carefully reviewing records to identify responsive materials. In addition, this position helps coordinate trainings and supports the day-to-day needs of the General Counsel’s Office.
This position responds to a wide range of technical questions, both verbally and in writing. The role independently researches questions, provides answers when appropriate, or refers them to other General Counsel’s Office staff. The position also schedules meetings for the General Counsel and staff, monitors the office budget, and makes budget recommendations. In addition, it manages office supply purchases and assists with travel arrangements and training registrations.

**Minimum Qualifications**
Two years of technical/administrative experience which demonstrates the following:
+ Customer service skills sufficient to responding to inquiries on a wide variety of legal related questions with the ability to direct calls, arrange meetings and complete expenditure requests.
+ Skill in database management sufficient to routing a variety of documents in sequence to multiple parties for review and signature, tracking the progress of documents through the routing process and addressing any concerns.
+ Knowledge of word processing sufficient to use software such as Microsoft Office to create, format, edit, print, and save a variety of documents, including spreadsheets, tables, charts, and graphs.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience providing legal administrative support.
+ General knowledge of data practices concepts.
+ Knowledge and/or experience of DocuSign.
+ Knowledge and/or experience working in SWIFT.
**Additional Requirements**
+ A Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) background check may be conducted on the top finalist(s) for the position(s). When conducted, a finalist must pass the DHS background check.
