Job Title: Leasing Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Leasing Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing the leasing process, from marketing properties to closing leases and maintaining strong relationships with residents. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who excels in customer service and has a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

Assist with advertising, social media, branding, and marketing of properties.Tour and present the property and available units to prospective residents.Follow up with and track all prospective residents’ information to drive the leasing process.Manage the leasing and renewal process from start to finish while adhering to regulatory guidelines.Build and maintain long-term relationships with residents by addressing requests, questions, and concerns.Schedule and perform apartment move-ins and move-outs to ensure readiness for new residents.Plan and coordinate fun and festive resident functions throughout the year.Maintain maximum occupancy of properties by achieving or exceeding operational metrics.Advise residents on rent collection options and basic process questions.Conduct property, building, and unit walks/inspections to ensure attractive appearance.Follow and maintain property security and key or electronic Fob management.Engage in required trainings and processes aligned with this role.Serve as a mentor to help in the growth and development of fellow team members.Ensure compliance with all Fair Housing and EPA laws and regulations.Communicate professionally and effectively with residents and team members.Participate in community initiatives and organizations.Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.Represent self and company in a professional and positive manner.Attend required company meetings and training.Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers and management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school degree or equivalent.Prior experience in property management or related industry preferred.Strong leasing/sales skills and aptitude with confidence and drive to close the lease.Ability to relate to a diverse group of people.Valid work authorization and ability to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Work Environment

The work environment is a small and fun office setting with three team members. The position is Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM with some evenings/weekends for special events. We offer a supportive and collaborative atmosphere that values hard work and dedication

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fargo, ND.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
