As a Leasing Consultant, you will serve as the front line of customer service for both current and prospective residents. You will collaborate closely with the Community Manager to enhance resident relations. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing various administrative tasks.
ResponsibilitiesProvide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents.Lease apartments to prospective residents, including conducting initial meetings, tours, screening applications, and managing move-ins and move-outs.Administer work orders and turnovers.Maintain organization of the office, lobby, and clubhouse.Use Microsoft Office Suite to enter data, create documents, and schedule appointments.Enter information into the database and create presentations.Update the company website and social media sites with online advertising.Stay informed on market conditions and understand how the property compares to competitors.Comply with Fair Housing laws and other applicable regulations.Manage time efficiently by prioritizing tasks and scheduling effectively.Meet leasing quotas.Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the role.Essential SkillsProven customer service skills.Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel.Strong sales and communication skills.Experience in property management and community support.Additional Skills & QualificationsGED required.At least one year of experience in a sales environment.At least one year of experience in customer service.Work EnvironmentThe work environment is primarily office-based with standard office hours, currently from 8am to 5pm, which may shift to 9am to 6pm after daylight savings. The role involves walking around facilities to provide tours. You will be working at multiple locations including Summer Creek Apartments in Tigard, OR, Oriel Apartments in Portland, OR, and Celio Apartments in Portland, OR.
