We're seeking a Learning Experience Designer - Quality Standards & Governance Lead who will serve as the architect of learning excellence across AHS. This senior role combines deep instructional design expertise with technical learning platform knowledge to establish enterprise-wide quality frameworks, govern LMS architecture, and drive technology innovation initiatives.
As the Quality Standards & Governance Lead, you'll be the cornerstone of our learning infrastructure—establishing content conventions, development protocols, and excellence frameworks that enable our organization to scale learning capabilities without proportional increases in headcount.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of instructional design excellence, learning technology innovation, and organizational governance. You'll work at a strategic level, influencing how 7,100 AHS employees learn and grow while building the frameworks that enable subject matter experts and training teams across the organization to create quality content independently.
Key job responsibilities
Establish and maintain enterprise-wide content standards, development conventions, and quality frameworks that enable consistent, scalable learning experiences across all AHS business lines
· Design and implement quality audit frameworks with clear assessment criteria, conducting comprehensive audits across all L&D initiatives
· Design information architecture achieving 90% content findability scores, making learning resources easily discoverable across the organization
· Lead xAPI implementation strategy to capture detailed learning interaction data for evidence-based optimization and real-time learning effectiveness visibility
· Evaluate emerging learning technologies and AI-powered solutions, providing strategic recommendations and implementation roadmaps
· Design and implement learning path intelligence with dynamic personalization and real-time progress tracking
· Develop comprehensive toolkits including templates, guidelines, and AI-assisted development tools that enable learning and development to create consistent quality content
· Coach and mentor L&D team members, training teams, and SMEs on instructional design best practices and quality standards
· Build internal lessons, frameworks, and tools for organizational and enterprise utilization
· Partner with Technical Writing team on information architecture and documentation standards, and collaborate with LNSS on LMS visual standards and quality check standards
