We are seeking a dynamic Learning and Development Specialist to support training initiatives across manufacturing operations in North America. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution of training programs and involves managing technical and analytical tasks to track progress and participation.
ResponsibilitiesSupport the rollout of training initiatives by handling technical and analytical tasks to ensure smooth execution across manufacturing operations in North America.Track and manage training participation and progress data for various job roles across five regional plant locations.Assist in crafting and refreshing instructional content, including visual aids, templates, and promotional materials.Oversee the logistics of training sessions, including reserving venues, coordinating with facilitators, sending calendar invites, and preparing equipment and supplies.Deliver in-person coaching and development support to hourly and non-exempt team members.Essential SkillsProficiency in training development and Microsoft Office.Experience in facilitating training curriculums.Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Organization Development, Psychology, Education, Human Resources Development, Counseling, Business, Learning and Training.Minimum of 2-5 years of related professional and/or project management experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsNaturally engaging and inquisitive, with a talent for building rapport.Clear and confident communicator, both in writing and in person, across all organizational levels.Creative thinker who brings fresh ideas to workplace challenges and learning opportunities.Skilled at fostering strong partnerships with colleagues and leadership.Persuasive and tactful in presenting ideas and gaining buy-in.Effective at navigating and resolving issues through collaboration across departments.Solid understanding of business operations and organizational dynamics.Experienced in leading and facilitating structured training programs.Work Environment
This position requires onsite work, with a mix of locations between the Kentwood Plant, Wood Plant, and the GR Business Center.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
