The primary purpose of the Learning and Development Specialist Senior is to create and develop engaging learning programs in a variety of modalities. This position is responsible for the knowledge transfer for internal employee learning ranging from on boarding new employees, culture and management requiring a balance of creativity, needs analysis and facilitation skills. The incumbent will undertake the entire training cycle, including planning activities, establishing course objectives, identification of audience, determining delivery methods, working with Subject Matter Experts throughout the process of course content and course evaluation. This role will require instructional design and development competency for delivery.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for design, development and maintenance of course curriculum for New Employees, Culture and ManagementDevelop working relationship and engagement with global and regional HRBPs and OD team members, culture SMEs, other HR team members and business leads to design and maintain top quality coursesCreates common, global process and program guides and have strong knowledge of industry standards and innovation of various methods for quality learningAdapt, design and develop instructional materials including user guides, tutorials, storyboards, scripts, course content (including simulations and role play activities etc.) pre and post test and student and facilitator directions for blended learning solutionsDesigns and develops instructional materials with various modalities such as instructor – led (ILT), on-line (OLT), blended learning and video. Ability to facilitate using various modalitiesThis role with take the lead from the Director of Talent Development to prioritize and process all activityStay abreast of organizational strategy, performance and challenges
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred in training, adult learning or a related field or related experience5+ years of relevant work experience with preference toward training and development and deliveryAbility to design, develop and maintain training projects from inception to completionExperience in training needs analysisStrong instruction and facilitation skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsStrong knowledge of learning theory and best practicesStrong SME engagement and collaborationProficient in MS Power Point, Excel and WordAbility to work in a fast paced and challenging work environmentExcellent time management and organization skills
