Our client is seeking experienced Learning and Development Consultant to support the HR and L&D function in the implementation of an enterprise wide LMS and this position will be reporting to Chief People Officer. **Job Title:** Learning and Development Consultant **Location:** Onsite (M-F) - San Jose, CA **Job Type:** 12- 18months Contract **Pay Rate** : $80.00/h - $90.00/hr **Key qualifications or Special Role Items:** An L&D content professional and expert with knowledge of L&D systems HR and L&D certifications preferred, but not required (SHRM, ATD, CTPM, etc) **Roles and Responsibilities:** The role will be to act as the functional subject matter expert to represent the HR L&D function in the implementation of an enterprise wide LMS (Workday). + Work closely with the project manager to define the functional requirements for the development of the Workday LMS, with a special focus on user experience + Work closely with the Workday architect during the configuration and testing phases of the project + Collaborate with the HR leaders to define the specific requirements for analytics dashboards in the system + Evaluate available content from learning platforms to select target platforms to be integrated with WD + Curate content to create learning offerings and curriculum in support of the HR strategy + As needed, create guidance to guarantee a rich yet manageable user experience + Help define and execute the change management plans before the system go- live **Qualifications:** + 8 – 10 years of experience working with Learning Management systems. Workday LMS experience will be preferred + Participation in an LMS implementation project from initiation to launch + 8+ years’ experience developing/delivering L&D content + Experience in testing phases of implementation + Strong experience in curating learning content, instructional design and learning principles + Familiarity with largest training platforms (Udemy, Coursera, LinkedIn, Skillsoft, Cornerstone, etc.) + System thinking and ability to work with cross functional stakeholders as a member of the core project team + Excellent problem solving, communication and customer service skills + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required; HR certification preferred If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
