We are seeking an experienced **Lead Test Automation Architect - Computing Architect MBSE & PLM** with deep expertise in the aerospace domain to lead the design and implementation of test automation frameworks and strategies. The ideal candidate will build and optimize test data management processes and create innovative approaches to shorten the path to production. This role requires strong DevOps skills to integrate automated testing seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring high-quality, reliable aerospace software delivery.
This role will be based out of **Bangalore** , **India** .
**Position Responsibilities:**
• Architect and implement scalable test automation frameworks tailored for aerospace software systems.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive test data management strategy to ensure data integrity, security, and reusability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and optimize test processes that accelerate the software delivery lifecycle.
• Design solutions to shorten the path to production by integrating automated testing into DevOps pipelines.
• Lead efforts to automate end-to-end testing, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Establish best practices and standards for test automation and data management within the aerospace domain.
• Mentor and guide test engineers and developers on automation tools, frameworks, and DevOps practices.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to improve test automation efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards and regulatory requirements in testing processes.

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):**
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION
**Aerospace Domain Expertise:**
• Proven experience working in aerospace software development and testing environments.
• Strong understanding of aerospace standards (e.g., DO-178C, ARP4754) and their impact on testing and quality assurance.
**Test Automation:**
• Extensive experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Robot Framework, TestComplete, or similar.
• Expertise in scripting and programming languages like Python, Java, or C# for automation development.
• Deep knowledge of test data management techniques, including synthetic data generation, data masking, and data versioning.
• Experience with automated testing of complex MBSE systems.
**DevOps and CI/CD:**
• Strong hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Bamboo).
• Ability to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster feedback loops.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible) is a plus.
• Experience with monitoring and reporting tools to track test coverage, quality metrics, and pipeline health.
Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with engineering, QA, and operations teams.
• Leadership experience in guiding teams and driving automation strategy.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
• Certifications in test automation, DevOps, or aerospace quality standards.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for scalable test environments.
**Typical Education & Experience:**
• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor), 12 to 16 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
