**Skilled position into surgical instrumentation, quality, or the technical services organization.**
**Position performs multiple tasks on an assigned team. Tasks will typically be performed within full-scale production manufacturing operations and include tasks such as routine and repetitive production involving electronic, mechanical, electro. Mechanical, disposable and probe assembly. May also perform, soldering, quality assurance and reliability testing following establish methods and procedures. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Must be able to pass all job-specific training and certifications required for core tasks or specialized assignments. May participate in team projects to develop process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures to enhance product quality.**
**Our client in Irvine, CA, is looking for skilled Technicians to join their high-tech manufacturing team.**
**As a Lead Technician – Manufacturing, you are responsible for unleashing the full potential of our people and culture while simultaneously achieving timely and cost-effective manufacturing of high-quality medical devices. You will be trusted to oversees technicians and communicate with supporting staff while being responsible for product line(s) safety, quality/compliance, productivity, labor, and material. You will also model leadership by influencing team and peers to highest level of product line performance and ensure quality and performance are maintained for respective product line.**
+ **Proactively lead day-to-day operations with a sense of urgency.**
+ **Ensure a team understanding of daily goals/metrics, maintain a broad awareness of the roles of immediate team members and the work function, and schedule and coordinate the work of technicians within product line(s) in meeting daily goals.**
+ **Support the success of the function, and teams within the function, by providing technical expertise, ensuring accurate department workflow, providing team mentorship, and providing partners accurate information for overall efficiency.**
+ **Interact with internal and external contacts providing clear, straightforward, effective, and factual communication and information resolving or calling out limited and non-routine problems as required demonstrating collaboration and high-level critical thinking.**
+ **Assist with the creation or update of Standard Operating Procedures, business processes, equipment, and tools.**
+ **Review procedures and documentation (calibration, preventive maintenance, manufacturing, etc.) for accuracy, suitability, and compliance with corporate and local requirements.**
+ **Generate purchase requisitions, review/approve invoices, and resolve billing discrepancies.**
+ **Schedule, coordinate, and perform equipment maintenance and calibrations for equipment of low to mid-level complexity. Enter information into the calibration management system providing scope, impact, justifications, and approvals as needed.**
+ **Provide leadership to high-level technicians guiding them through coordinating activities in their area and providing technical guidance in complex situations.**
+ **Complete successfully all job-specific training or certifications required for core tasks or specialized assignments.**
+ **Participate in team projects developing process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures enhancing product quality.**
+ **Align with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per Alcon's quality system.**
+ **Meet individual and department performance goals as defined in annual objectives.**

**Minimum Education**
+ **High School Diploma or equivalent**
+ **The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English**
**Work Experience**
+ **3 Years of Relevant Experience**
1. **Work schedule :**
**9- 80 Schedule**
1. **3pm – 12:30pm Monday – Friday (every other Friday off)**
1. **Pay rate**
+ **$30/hour**
1. **Contract duration**
+ **Up to 18 months**
