Lead Technical Product Manager – ML Decisioning Platform
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Technical Product Manager to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our cutting-edge ML Decisioning Platform. This role demands a deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, platform architecture, and data-driven decision systems. You will be the key driver in shaping a scalable, performant, and innovative platform that empowers teams to build, deploy, and manage machine learning-powered decisioning solutions at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for the ML Decisioning Platform, from concept through delivery and ongoing enhancements.Collaborate closely with data scientists, ML engineers, platform engineers, and business stakeholders to define product roadmap aligned with strategic business goals.Provide deep technical expertise in AI/ML frameworks, model deployment, feature engineering pipelines, model monitoring, and decision automation.Drive platform scalability, reliability, and security while ensuring ease of integration and extensibility.Translate complex technical concepts into actionable product requirements and user stories.Lead cross-functional teams through agile processes, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to maintain platform leadership.Advocate for best practices in ML lifecycle management, including data governance, model interpretability, and compliance.Influence and mentor junior product managers and technical teams to foster innovation and technical excellence.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.8+ years of product management experience with at least 5 years focused on AI/ML platforms or data-driven products.Strong understanding of machine learning concepts including supervised and unsupervised learning, model training and validation, feature engineering, and model deployment.Hands-on experience or deep familiarity with ML platforms such as TensorFlow Extended (TFX), Kubeflow, MLflow, or similar.Proven track record managing complex, technical platform products serving data scientists and ML engineers.Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker).Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.Experience working with large-scale data processing frameworks (Spark, Hadoop) and data pipeline orchestration tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to product decisions.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with real-time decisioning systems and online inference.Knowledge of MLOps best practices and tooling.Familiarity with regulatory requirements around AI/ML such as fairness, explainability, and privacy.Previous experience in telecom, finance, or other highly regulated industries is a plus.Our Lead Tech Product Mgr, earns between $128,400-$192,600 USD Annual not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
