JOB TITLE: Lead System Engineering

JOB LOCATION: 211 S. Akard St., Dallas, TX 75202

DUTIES: Work with portfolio stakeholders, Solution and Enterprise Architects, to develop, analyze, split and realize the implementation of enablers. Contribute to technical roadmap and technical debt elimination, balancing time, resource, and quality constraints to achieve business and strategic goals and requirements. Contribute to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable and maintainable software. Interpret and translate business needs to technical requirements and accurate estimates. Design, code, test, debug and document new and existing components to ensure that software meets business, quality and operational needs. Align development teams to a shared technical direction and partner with those teams in elaborating the Solution and its interfaces. Build high quality code following unit testing and test-driven development. Establish critical NFRs at the solution level, participate in the definition of others. Collaborate with peer organizations, dev ops, support organizations on technical issues and provide guidance. Work with a team to troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficiently. Perform Java-based high-volume, high-transaction e-commerce applications. Utilize Java, React JS, Angular, Spring and REST, and performance tuning and application monitoring. Utilize Oracle, Kafka, Rabbit MQ, Redis, ELK, Azure, Prometheus, Grafana, Git, Jira, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate in a related occupation performing Java-based high-volume, high-transaction e-commerce applications; utilizing Java, React JS, Angular, Spring and REST, and performance tuning and application monitoring; utilizing Oracle, Kafka, Rabbit MQ, Redis, ELK, Azure, Prometheus, Grafana, Git, Jira, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Our Lead System Engineering earn between  $160,000 - $215,800 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
