Lead Spray Dry
**Job Title: Spray Dry Lead** Job Description We are seeking a skilled Spray Dry Lead to oversee the spray dry operations and ensure the production of high-quality powdered flavors. This position involves mixing ingredients, leading a team of operators, and maintaining product standards. Responsibilities + Prepare formulas and mix ingredients into kettles to create blends of liquids into powder. + Lead and supervise other spray dry operators to ensure efficient line operations. + Check products to ensure they meet customer satisfaction. + Assist with operating spray dryers and liquid reactors. + Transfer materials and set up equipment. + Fill out batch sheets accurately and timely. Essential Skills + Experience in batch mixing and GMP practices. + Proficiency in packaging and sanitation within a food environment. + Comfortable working with various spices and smells. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in blending is beneficial. + Spice or flavor experience is advantageous. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is set in a flavor manufacturing facility specializing in savory and meat flavors. The facility uses GMP practices, providing all necessary personal protective equipment. The environment has strong and varied smells depending on the flavors being blended. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $27.50 - $27.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
