What can you expect?

Plan and prioritize work for self, assist lead by providing inputs on in all the phases of delivery lifecycle, collate and report status/impediments with the greater project team.Lead / Manage – Small implementation projects / Launch implementations, manage workload for the team, assist team in all the phases of delivery lifecycle, collate and report status/impediments with the greater project team.Develop complex configuration for clients & leads, manage data transformation and perform EIB Data loads.Provide go-live assistance and ongoing support.Lead & Involve in Data conversion activities pertaining to CompensationCoordinate with the Lead, EM / PM or Client for any project deliveryMulti-task and engage on multiple projects for lead activities.End to end ownership of assigned projectsProvide leadership and key stakeholders with the information and venues to make effective, timely decisions.

Deliver solutions for in scope functional work item – Core & Advance CompensationParticipate in design discussions and Lead where required.Ability to configure complex Core & Advance Compensation components based on requirement.Identify scope, scope gaps & get them addressed.Identify right stakeholders in the project.Gather and document requirements, assess complexity and level of effort estimates, prioritizes capacity, and defines development and analysis timelines.Identify test scenarios, develop test scripts, and provide key support in Workday feature releases, security, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Perform Data validation on the work deliverables.Communicate & collaborate with project internal / external stakeholders for project success & plan inputs.Mentor and Coach new hires and relatively new team members.Adhere to the quality parameters and timelines on the projects.Being flexible to work in multiple time zones and multiple teams.Drive Ops excellence culture and lead transformational project(s) with clear visible and measurable impact.Responsible for driving initiatives and ensuring results with a confined focus on timelines and quality

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work on business / technical requirements for the client’s and work collaboratively with business analysts and architects to clarify requirements and to achieve a consensus on the organization's needs and priorities.Prepare documentation and support in providing overview of work capabilities for respective functional area and Data conversion.Design the Workday solution to meet the stated needs with workday tools and technologies.Work on data gathering workbooks and review it with client for any gaps.Work on the configuration and data loads as applicable.Perform self-reviews and smoke testing of the work delivered and review peer’s work.Migration – Should be aware of migration methodologies and must be able to migrate Compensation components from source tenant to target tenant with help of functional checklist.Application Testing – Assist clients with the testing of the delivered configuration, defect resolution. Testing is driven by the scenarios from the client team.Production Support – Includes the practices and disciplines of supporting the Workday solution for a period of time post deployment.AMS – Work on the tickets assigned and provide appropriate solutions in a timely manner.Production Rollout – Assist with the rollout of the Workday solution into the production environment.Take timely, appropriate action to address stakeholder needs/expectations.Interact and communicate effectively with lead, mid and senior level management.Develop & manage communication plans with stakeholders aimed at improved collaboration.Leverage synergies between global information systems      Develop Reports / Dashboards using Workday provided tools (Report Designer, Matrix reports etc.) related to Compensation.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience with Workday Project Lifecycle.Strong knowledge in Workday Core & Advance Compensation moduleBasic/Good knowledge on other Workday module such as Core HCM, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Learning would be an added advantage.Strong Knowledge in Workday tools like Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Object Transporter, Advance LoadIn-depth knowledge of Workday object model and solution design approach around it.Self-motivated and ability to learn quickly through individual research and self-training.Ability to absorb new technologies and features quickly.Ability to train users in a classroom setting.Effective knowledge transfer skills in non-classroom environment.Passion for customer service.Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain a home office for remote work

Eligibility:

Should be at least certified in Workday HCM Core, Core & Advance Compensation.Minimum 5 years’ experience in Core & Advance Compensation ModuleShould have lead minimum 2 implementation project in Lead capacity.Should have at least “On Track” or equivalent rating in last appraisal.Minimum 12 months of experience at the previous career level Senior Analyst I – Workday Practice (C2)Should not be under any Performance Improvement Plan, or had any official Disciplinary action within the last 3 monthsShould not have applied for any other IJP within Mercer within the last 3 months
