The Institutional Buy-Side Client & Managed Services team is at the forefront of delivering innovative, client-focused solutions for market risk and portfolio construction across the globe. Based in Sofia, our team partners closely with sales, product, and services departments to enable clients to manage risk, optimize portfolios, and navigate complex investment environments with confidence. As a Lead Specialist, you will play a vital role in advancing FactSet’s Risk Managed Services, collaborating with industry professionals and internal experts while growing your expertise in financial modelling, technology, AI, and machine learning.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver Client Value: Lead managed services engagements for market risk and portfolio construction clients, ensuring top-tier service and effective solutions.
- Expert Guidance: Serve as a primary contact for validation and interpretation of ex-ante portfolio risk and optimization results, providing clear, data-driven insights.
- Methodology Support: Advise clients on financial modelling methodologies and the practical application of FactSet solutions.
- Proof of Concept* Prepare and present effective Proofs of Concept (POC) for prospective managed services clients, demonstrating the value and capabilities of our offering.
- Seamless Onboarding: Drive successful onboarding experiences for new managed services clients, ensuring smooth transitions and long-term engagement.
- Product Collaboration: Contribute to the evolution of FactSet’s managed services by collaborating with Product Development, Quant Research, Software Engineering, and Project Management teams.
- Knowledge Sharing: Enrich the internal product knowledge base and documentation, playing an active role in building a culture of continuous improvement and expertise.
What We’re Looking For:
- Academic Background: Bachelor’s or higher degree in Finance or Economics.
- Industry Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in market risk management, asset management, financial analysis, trading, or related fields.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in statistics, financial instruments pricing, factor-based investing, and portfolio construction & optimization.
- Programming Ability: Working-level knowledge of Python for scripting, large dataset analysis/visualization, and automation; solid understanding of MS Excel.
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Curiosity & Drive: Eager to learn and grow, with a proactive approach to tackling new challenges and partnering across teams.
