The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in legacy systems, modern cloud technologies, and emerging AI capabilities to help design and guide scalable, secure, and innovative solutions. **Required Qualifications** + **Experience:** + Minimum of 7 years in IT architecture or solution design roles. + Demonstrated experience in the **healthcare payer** industry, including familiarity with claims processing, eligibility, and provider systems. + Strong **mainframe experience** , including integration with modern platforms. + Proven expertise in **cloud platforms** (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP). + Hands-on experience with **AI/ML technologies** and their application in enterprise solutions. + **Technical Skills:** + Architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) + API design and integration + Data architecture and governance + DevOps and CI/CD practices + Security and compliance in healthcare IT **Responsibilities:** + Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define solution architecture aligned with strategic goals. + Design and document end-to-end solutions that integrate legacy systems with modern platforms. + Provide architectural oversight and guidance throughout the project lifecycle. + Evaluate and recommend AI and cloud-based tools to enhance business capabilities. + Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards. **Preferred Qualifications** + Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) + Experience with hybrid cloud environments + Familiarity with FHIR, HL7, and other healthcare data standards + Experience with Low Code/No Code and Rules Framework tools + Experience with Appian Vendor platform + Experience with ETL Tools such as Ab Initio **Education** + Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience. **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $118,450.00 - $260,590.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
