**About this role:**
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Java Developer to join the Content Capability Engineering Technology team within Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology (CCIBT). You will leverage your hands-on engineering experience, architecture knowledge and CI/CD experience to lead complex technology solutions as part of the Language Translation Transformation initiative.
**In this role, you will:**
+ Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
+ Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
+ Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
+ Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
+ Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
+ Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
+ Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
**Required Qualifications:**
+ 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
+ 5+ years of full stack software engineering experience
+ 5+ years of J2EE experience (including RESTful or SOAP web services)
+ 5+ years of JMS (Java Message Service) experience
+ 4+ years of Kafka Platform experience, Confluent Platform experience, or a combination of both
+ 3+ years of MongoDB experience
+ 3+ years of experience with secure DevOps and deployment automation to cloud environments
+ 3+ years of experience with Test Automation
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ 5+ years of experience with Banking / Financial Services
+ 4-year Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related field
+ Strong Content Management Systems experience
+ Experience with multi language translation software
+ Knowledge and understanding of technology architecture: distributed and client server and cloud technologies
+ Knowledge and understanding of AI technology
+ Proficient in Microservices architecture
+ Proficient in monitoring and observability tools like Splunk and Grafana
+ Proficient in working with vendor software for deployment, troubleshooting and escalation for hotfixes/bug fixes
+ Excellent communications and teamwork skills, be self-directed, self-motivated, committed, and a quick learner
+ Agile experience
+ Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
+ Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

**Pay Range**
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$143,000.00 - $224,000.00
