5 years’ python software development, to include, 3 years in CI/CD, SQL and database design, 2 years with Spark/PySpark, and 1 year using Airflow and graph databases (Neo4j/AWS Neptune).3 years of experience developing and deploying solutions on cloud platforms, particularly AWS (S3, ECS, EMR, Glue, RDS). Guide the development team in implementing Python-based solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements, performance standards, and scalability best practices. Design, build, and maintain scalable Python applications for data processing, transformation, and analytics. Utilize strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts to design efficient data models, optimize queries, and manage data quality.Implement and uphold best practices in Python software development, testing, and CI/CD pipelines. Leverage Apache Spark, PySpark, and related big data technologies to develop distributed data processing pipelines. Stay current with evolving Python, and big data ecosystem technologies, recommending improvements and new approaches to enhance our data platform and mentor junior developers, facilitate knowledge sharing sessions, and foster a culture of continuous learning within the team.About the Product
The LS&H Data Platform Team is responsible for building end‑to‑end ETL pipelines that move data from internal systems into the central data lake. On top of this foundation, the team develops a variety of data‑driven tools and interfaces, including APIs, BI dashboards, SvTP, and other solutions that enable efficient access to high‑quality data across the organization.
About the Team
LSH Data Platform Team is in Europe, has 7 engineers, QA, Product Owner and a Manager. With this team you will have meaningful impact, directly contribute to advancements in the Life Sciences industry, accelerating processes from drug discovery through commercialization.

Hours of work
This is a permanent full-time position, with core engagement hours within CET time zone. This is a hybrid position, you will be expected to work from our Belgrade office 3 days every other week.
