Job responsibilities

Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problemsDevelops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by othersIdentifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systemsLeads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architectureLeads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologiesAdds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experienceHands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityAdvanced proficiency in Java, J2EE, and RESTful web services for enterprise-scale application development.Hands-on experience with tools such as IntelliJ/Eclipse, Maven, BitBucket/Git/Gitflow, JMeter/Pasta/Blazemeter, Spring Framework, Hibernate, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, MVC, and Spring CloudExperience working with Unix Shell Scripts, API Gateways, Apache Kafka, Cassandra, and NoSQL databases.
Proficient in Core Java, Spring frameworks, REST API development, Cloud technologies, Microservices architecture, AngularJS, Bootstrap, React, and other modern web technologies.Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversightProven ability to apply agile software development methodologies, such as SCRUM, to achieve quick turnaround and efficient deliveryProficiency in automation and continuous delivery methodsProficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life CycleExposure of AI concepts and active user of development assistance tools like Microsoft Copilot.
