Job responsibilities

 

Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problemsManages an application that helps our clients pull reports on various high-volume dataEnsures junior team members are coding efficiently and correctly via code reviews and mentoringLeading architecture design and system design sessionsDevelops secure high-quality production codeIdentifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systemsLeads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologiesAdds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.

Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityExpert knowledge in Java, JavaScript and React codingAdvanced knowledge in Kubernetes middlewareAdvanced expertise in Oracle, Cassandra, and mongoDB databasesAdvanced experience in Soap and RestAPI'sAdvanced experience in Architecture and System Design of large enterprise-scale applicationsProficiency in going through modernization of on-prem to public cloudProficiency in automation and continuous delivery methodsAdvanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
