As a Lead Software Engineer in the Vida team, you will play a key role in delivering reliable, secure, and scalable technology solutions within the Corporate and Investment Bank Markets Business. Job Responsibilities:

Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshootingDevelop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by othersIdentify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stabilityEvaluate architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systemsDrive awareness and adoption of new and leading-edge technologies across Software Engineering communitiesContribute to a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Commercial experience developing user interfaces with hands-on experience in ReactPractical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityAdvanced proficiency in one or more programming languagesProficiency in automation and continuous delivery methodsProficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life CycleAdvanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and securityDemonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile)In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and IT systemsPractical cloud native experienceExperience in developing, debugging, and automated testing (e.g., React Testing Library, Cypress) in a commercial settingExperience collaborating with backend technology teams in designing scalable and reusable RESTful APIs
