Our product, Personalization and Insights, builds and supports high throughput, low latency applications which leverage state of the art machine learning architectures, and which are deployed in AWS.  These applications power personalized experiences across Chase Consumer & Community Banking channels, to help weave a user experience that includes traditional banking services with other services in the Travel, Merchant Offer Shopping, and Dining spaces.  We leverage GenAI and machine learning as well as rules based algorithms to create insights and recommendations.

As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorganChase within the Consumer and Community Banking - Personalization and Insights Team, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

BS degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field8+ years applied experienceHands-on software development experience in an Object-Oriented programming language (such as Java, C++, Python) Requires in-depth of knowledge and experience in two of the following areas, with developing knowledge in the others.High-throughput, low-latency micro service development leveraging AWS services such EKS, ECS, Fargate, etc.High throughput near real time stream processing with services such Kinesis or Flink.High volume data processing with services such Spark EMR.Solid fundamentals and experience in containers (docker ecosystem), container orchestration systems [Kubernetes, ECS], DAG orchestration [Airflow, Kubeflow etc.]Solid understanding of agile methodologies and knowledge of SDLC including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Experience with recommendation and personalization systems is a plus.
