What you’ll do:

Engineer Solutions: Design and implement robust backend services and RESTful APIs to support critical business applications acrossField Operations Technology.

Own the Lifecycle: Take full ownership of your features, frominitialdesign through deployment. This includes writing unit tests,establishingCI/CD pipelines,security bestpracticesand monitoring production performance.

Solve ComplexTechnology Challenges:Collaborate andArchitect efficientsolutionsleveragingindustry standards and best practices.

Innovate & Learn: Continuously explore and evaluatenew technologies—such as LLMs, agents, and the latest Azure features—to find faster and better ways to address business challenges.

What you’ll bring:

5+ years Coding Proficiency: DeepexpertiseinJavawith an emphasisin Spring Boot.

Engineering Fundamentals: A strong foundationin Object-Oriented Programming, data structures, algorithms, and system design. You understand the reasoning behind your technical choices.

Database Knowledge: Solid experience with relational databases (SQL),complex queries 

Cloud Native Mindset: Practical experience building applications in a cloud environment (Azure preferred, but AWS or GCP experience is applicable).

Adaptability: A proventrack recordof quickly learning new languages, frameworks, or tools. You embrace new challenges and continually expand your skillset.

Preferred:

Experience with the Azure ecosystem (Data Factory, SQL, DevOps), interest or background in GenAI/LLMs, and familiarity with DevOps practices like CI/CD, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code.

Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA)desiredin Computer Science.

Our Lead Software Engineering, earns between $141,300-$211,900 USD Annual, Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
