Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Foreman to oversee the construction of shaded structures for commercial buildings. This role involves leading a team, ensuring project tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

ResponsibilitiesConstruct shaded structures for commercial buildings.Dig out material and set columns.Pour concrete footings that are 36\" round and 10 feet deep.Place steel structures, taking approximately 2-3 weeks.Install custom components and ladders.Use levels for precision work.Perform electrical work occasionally if shades have lighting.Lead and manage a team of laborers.Read and interpret construction drawings.Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.Essential SkillsProficiency in concrete, carpentry, and structural steel installation.Ability to layout, pour, and lift columns.Minimum of 5 years of experience in carpentry and concrete/steel work.Leadership experience and capability to manage laborers.Valid driver's license.Ability to keep track of invoices and receipts for expenses.Additional Skills & QualificationsBasic computer skills and proficiency with smartphones.Ability to send emails and complete expense reports.Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a tight-knit team of three, meeting at the garage and leaving for job sites at 5:30 am. The role involves working 10-12 hour days from Monday to Thursday, with rotating Fridays for overtime. While most jobs are local, potential travel outside Phoenix is possible using a company vehicle.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
