As a Lead Security Engineer at JPMorganChase within the Cyber Security Line of Business, you are an integral part of team that works to deliver software solutions that satisfy pre-defined functional and user requirements with the added dimension of preventing misuse, circumvention, and malicious behavior. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions with tamper-proof, audit defensible methods across multiple technical areas within various business functions.
Job responsibilities
Executes security solutions design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to apply knowledge of existing security solutions to satisfy security requirements for internal clients (e.g., product, platform, application owners)Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systemsSecurity automation: Creating automated systems, such as scripts or cloud functions, to fix common misconfigurations and respond to security events. Work alongside other software developers to ensure security is integrated into the development process from the start, rather than being an afterthought. Ensure that cloud infrastructure and processes comply with relevant industry standards and regulations through regular audits.Create and analyze AI threat models to identify and mitigate security risks in and with SaaS AI
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training and or certification on security engineering and 5+ years of applied experienceExperience developing security engineering solutionsProficient in coding in one of more languagesOverall knowledge of the Software Development Life CycleSolid understanding of agile methodologies and experience with CI/CD, application resiliency, distributed systems, Docker/Kubernetes and security.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Threat analysis: Knowledge of adversary behavior, malware analysis, and reverse engineering is necessary.Security tools: Experience with security tools like SIEM, SOAR, and EDR is valuable.AI/ML Frameworks: Experience with AI/ML tools and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
