The Position
As a Lead SecOps Architect you will:
Develop and customise Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (VR) modules, including workflows, playbooks, and enrichments. Build and maintain integrations with SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners, and other third-party tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Tenable, and AWS Security Lake. Configure and enhance ITSM modules using scripts, business rules, UI policies, and dashboards. Collaborate closely with SOC analysts, Security Analytics, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management teams. Ensure platform performance, documentation, and adherence to ServiceNow best practices. Run workshops to clarify needs, write user stories, and translate processes into practical configurations. Strengthen delivery with testing, documentation, and handover that ensures operational success. Guide the roadmap by advising on platform governance, architecture, and incremental value delivery.
Qualifications
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who:
10+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience. Strong experience working with SIR, VR, and ITSM/SecOps modules in ServiceNow. Proven ability to build security workflows, automated playbooks, and remediation logic. Experience integrating ServiceNow with security tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Tenable, AWS Security Lake. Solid understanding of the end‑to‑end security incident and vulnerability lifecycle.

The GSO - Technology and Service Operations team within the Infrastructure & Information Security department is at the forefront of ensuring the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of IT solutions. This dynamic and fast-paced team implements, manages, and maintains security technologies across endpoint, cloud, and network environments. Acting as the operational backbone to the Security Operations Centre (SOC), the team actively tunes and updates security tools to address emerging threats and vulnerabilities. With a collaborative atmosphere and a global presence, you’ll work alongside the Global Security Organisation (GSO) to enhance Novo Nordisk’s security posture and support business continuity.
