Job DescriptionGDIT is seeking a Lead Scientific Support Technician to join our program supporting the biomedical research community for our customer with the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) at the National Institutes of Health.
Responsibilities:
Support scientific computing needs for DIR laboratories within NHLBI.Provide support for instrument controllers, high-performance computing, and laboratory instruments.Ensure consistent support and minimize turnover of support staff specializing in scientific equipment.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, management, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in supporting scientific research environments and laboratory instruments.Preferred experience with high-performance computing and bioinformatics tools. Understanding of scientific computing hardware and software.Desired Qualifications:
Experience working at NIHMCSE Certification, Microsoft Certified Professional, CompTIA A+ CertificationGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:
