**Hiring Lead Restoration Technicians!**
**Job Description**
Lead and supervise mitigation crews on-site to ensure efficient and effective project execution. Perform water extraction, structural drying, mold remediation, fire/smoke damage cleanup, and other mitigation tasks. Conduct moisture readings, environmental testing, and damage assessments. Document job progress using company software and ensure compliance with industry standards (IICRC). Communicate clearly with customers, insurance adjusters, and internal teams. Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and PPE. Train and mentor junior technicians. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times.
**Responsibilities**

**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in construction, carpentry, and restoration.
+ Experience in water, fire, mold mitigation using hand and power tools.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with effective project management skills.
+ Familiarity with industry-standard tools and software like moisture meters and thermal imaging cameras.
+ Strong observational skills for identifying hidden damage and thorough documentation.
+ Professional customer service skills for reassuring and effective communication with clients.
+ Experience in training, mentoring, and motivating team members.
+ Quick thinking and adaptability in dynamic environments, especially during emergencies.
+ Understanding of OSHA, EPA, and IICRC standards for compliance.
+ Efficient time management skills for planning schedules and coordinating logistics.
+ Capability to work in confined spaces, on ladders, and in various environmental conditions.
+ Skill in maintaining accurate records, photos, and communication for insurance and compliance.

**Work Environment**
Work in diverse environments including residential homes, commercial buildings, and disaster zones. Conditions may involve distressed homeowners, tight or cluttered spaces, unstable structures, and hazardous materials. Confined or hazardous spaces like crawlspaces or ductwork require PPE and adherence to safety protocols. Outdoor work may involve exposure to weather conditions and uneven terrain. Be prepared for on-call and emergency situations, including night, weekend, or holiday work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, Illinois.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.
