**Job Title: Lead Restoration Technician**
**Job Description**
Lead and supervise mitigation crews on-site to ensure efficient and effective project execution. Perform water extraction, structural drying, mold remediation, fire/smoke damage cleanup, and other mitigation tasks. Conduct moisture readings, environmental testing, and damage assessments. Document job progress using company software and ensure compliance with industry standards (IICRC). Communicate clearly with customers, insurance adjusters, and internal teams. Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and PPE. Train and mentor junior technicians. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times.
**Responsibilities**

+ Experience in construction, carpentry, and restoration.
+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

+ Attention to detail for identifying hidden damage and thorough documentation.

+ Leadership experience in training and motivating team members.

+ Regulatory knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and IICRC standards.
+ Efficient time management and planning skills.
+ Physical capability to work in confined spaces and varying conditions.
+ Skilled in documentation and reporting for insurance and compliance.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in demolition and haul-away tasks.
+ Ability to work in high-pressure and emergency response situations.

**Work Environment**
Work in diverse settings including residential homes, commercial buildings, and disaster zones. Tasks may involve working in basements, attics, and crawl spaces, often in tight or cluttered spaces. Coordination with property managers may be required. Exposure to unstable structures, debris, and hazardous materials is possible. Outdoor environments may involve weather exposure and uneven terrain. Be prepared for on-call and emergency situations during nights, weekends, or holidays.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, Illinois.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.
