POS Lead Quality Assurance Analyst
**Position Overview** POS QA Lead to drive quality assurance strategies and ensure the delivery of top-tier software solutions. Point of Sale testing process, leading a team to design, execute, and report on tests for POS hardware/software, ensuring quality across functional, integration, and UAT phases, coordinating with Dev/Ops, mentoring testers, managing risks, and ensuring timely, high-quality releases for payment solutions and retail systems. They handle strategy, planning, defect lifecycle, stakeholder communication, and often work with offshore teams and automation. In this leadership role, you will mentor and advise QA and Senior QA Analysts, manage testing frameworks, and serve as the primary advocate for quality across the organization. This position is ideal for a proactive professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for excellence in software testing. **A Day In The Life** + Oversee all testing activities, including functional, performance, regression, and integration testing. + Collaborate with stakeholders to define quality objectives, timelines, and deliverables. + Implement and maintain automated testing tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and accuracy. + Analyze testing outcomes, track quality metrics, and present actionable insights to leadership. + Identify process improvements and implement best practices for QA methodologies and workflows. + Advocate for quality standards and practices throughout the software development lifecycle. + Develop test plans, strategies, and test cases for POS systems, including hardware, software, APIs, and user interfaces. + Mentor, manage, and assign tasks to QA team members (onshore/offshore); oversee daily testing activities and progress. + Lead test execution (functional, integration, regression, UAT, performance), manage test environments, and resolve issues. + Prepare Test strategy, Test plan, defect lifecycle, stakeholder communication, and often work with offshore teams and automation. + Track, manage, and triage defects; lead defect triage meetings with cross-functional teams. + Act as the main contact for testing, provide status reports, and communicate risks to management and business users. + Promote QA best practices, improve automation, and identify areas for quality enhancement. **You'll Come With** + 10+ years of experience in application development with experience in manual and automated testing methodologies, tools, and processes + Deep experience with POS systems, payment solutions, and related hardware. + Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills. + Proficiency in test management tools (JIRA, JAMA, Any Test Repository tool) and automation. + Excellent communication, risk mitigation, and stakeholder management abilities. + Experience with offshore/onshore delivery models. + Experience with hands-on Design/execute critical test cases, troubleshoot complex issues. + Ability to collaborate with Dev, BA, and Ops teams to resolve bugs and refine requirements. + Experience providing status updates, reports, and metrics to leadership. + Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. + Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. + ISTQB or other QA certification. \#LI-JL1 **Come join our team.
