Job Description Our fortune 500 client is seeking a Lead QA to join their Digital Engineering team. This person will be driving quality and test automation strategy with a primary focus on Playwright and Typescript. In this role, you will architect and maintain scalable UI and end-to-end test automation, integrate testing into our CI/CD pipelines, establish quality standards, and collaborate closely with Engineering and Product to ensure high confidence releases. Skills and Requirements 10+ years of experience in QA Engineering, Test Automation, or SDET roles • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and Typescript in production environments • Proven experience creating and scaling UI/E2E automation frameworks • Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines • Solid understanding of debugging, defect triage, and quality risk management • Ability to influence without gatekeeping and elevate testing maturity across teams • Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner with engineers, product managers, and leadership • Microservices environments • CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.) • Observability concepts (logs, metrics, traces) • Cypress, Selenium, Selenide, WebDriverIO, TestCafe • Postman/Newman, Rest-Assured, Pact, WireMock, Supertest • Cucumber/Gherkin, Behave, SpecFlow • JMeter, k6, Gatling, Locust • BrowserStack, LambdaTest, Sauce Labs • Accessibility testing tools (axe-core, Pa11y)
