Job Description SummaryThe Lead Program Integrator is responsible for driving New Product Introduction program and Installed Base program execution, take initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the Engineering function and interfaces with other functions to provide effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiative coordination. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution to ensure product manufacturability, serviceability, safety and quality. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities

Supporting the Program Manager, ensures that multi-functional projects integrate properly within the product/program. Optimize team performance across the program value chain, functionally and technically.Ability to proactively manage cross-functional interdependencies to maximize team efficiency and avoid gaps/delays in mid to long-term execution. Anticipate integration issues and discern appropriate actions to progress the team forward. Connects planning and cross-functional impacts of product NPI, Installed Base, Obsolescence and End-of Life.Working with the system, subsystem/platform and service leadership teams to deliver quality products on time, within budget and with the necessary featuresDeveloping in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or aboveAdvanced experience in the Engineering/Technology & Program Integration.3+ years product quality management or project management relative work experience.    Effective communication skills and boundaryless behavior—ability to present ideas clearly and conciselyDemonstrated understanding/experience with the New Product Introduction (NPI) or Product Lifecycle Management project rigor.

Established project management skills.Experience working in systems engineering and project management. Experience working and coordinating with global engineering sites and manufacturing site.Customer orientation: self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently, learn quickly and work under pressure.Medical device working experience is highly preferred.
