Lead Production Planner/Scheduler

Make It With Pride.** The Lead Production Planner/Scheduler will plan and execute detailed production operations which involves planning, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring the flow of products through the production life cycle. This role is very dynamic and requires high level of organization to allow for timely execution of work streams involving forecasting, sequencing, resource allocation, gap analysis, cost efficiency, quality compliance, change control and risk mitigation. Candidate must be adept at building strategic manufacturing and fulfillment service partnerships through sound business relationships. This will ensure accuracy and availability of raw materials and finished goods through our system to support On Time-In Full (OTIF). General Scope: + Build and maintain Master Production Plan (MPP) + Manage MPP to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize excess inventory + Lead Supply Demand Alignment (SDA) process ensuring solid communication flow, visibility between demand and supply, and alignment of risk mitigation plan + Lead External Manufacturer Production (EMP) process ensuring demand/supply reviews are conducted and risk mitigation plan is executed + Manage External Manufacturing (EM) budget process + Integrate ERP capability into supply planning process flow and explore other supply planning solutions to optimize end-to-end process, accommodate multiple users, facilitate cross training, and enhance ease of use Responsibilities: + Manage annual rolling forecast to align with defined bar splits by location to support tolling rate + Manage planning parameters including sequencing and maintain the up-to-date assortment of items + Ensure that the EM internal schedule matches the MPP with accurate item numbers and quantities + Manage backlog and backorders at EM and ensure direct communication with the internal and external stakeholders are conducted + Ensure case fill target is achieved by regularly observing and tracking EM production progress, monitoring consumption, and collecting data/information to make proactive adjustments to the MPP + Lead the weekly EM meetings ensuring solid communication flow and visibility between demand and supply + Coordinate action plans to manage and elevate supply constraints and collaborate with stakeholders to mitigate the impact + Conduct supply chain analysis and deliver written communications/data reports as needed, including inventory run-out, root cause and KPIs + Work closely with Supply Chain functions to leverage information sharing across the supply chain network + Drive and manage the SDA process ensuring alignment of demand and supply forecast, and update MPP to support OTIF + Manage EM budget including submitting accrual, reporting on budget versus actual, reconciling invoices and supporting month end close activities + Support strategic and operational supply chain initiatives in line with business strategy + Manage projects that focus on continuous improvement to drive efficiency and sustainability + Accept responsibility for the organizational goals by taking ownership of new and different duties and identifying new opportunities within the Operations department Travel Requirements: Position will require some travel (less than 15%). Skills / Qualification / Education: + 4+ years progressive experience in Supply Chain, CPG and/or food/beverage a plus + 4+ years credible track record demonstrating ability to manage production operations including planning/scheduling + Strong experience in Supplier Relationship Management and Risk Management + Ability to be entrepreneurial and methodical + Results-oriented and process driven, with high expectations of self and team + Collaborative mindset with strength in effectively receiving and communicating feedback + Excellent written and oral communication skills + Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, as well as web-based applications + Strong technical skills in process improvement and supply chain management The base salary range for this position is $73,900 to $101,650; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
