We are seeking a strategic and experienced Lead Procurement Specialist to join our global Procurement team, with a focus on IT and Telecom categories. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in global sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management. You will drive category strategies, lead sourcing initiatives, and manage complex procurement activities in alignment with internal stakeholders’ expectations and company goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Category Management Develop, implement, and evolve global procurement strategies for IT and Telecom categories. Conduct market and spend analysis to identify opportunities and consolidate sourcing requirements across geographies. Lead e-2-e sourcing processes including RFPs, bid evaluations, negotiations, and supplier onboarding. Monitor market trends, vendor innovations, and regulatory changes to shape procurement strategies. Procurement Execution & Stakeholder Engagement Coordinate and perform procurement activities ensuring compliance, efficiency, and timely delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and align sourcing plans. Design, plan, and implement large-scale procurement projects, involving other teams as needed. Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates, insights, and solutions. Supplier & Contract Management Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential vendors. Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, service level agreements, and pricing structures. Evaluate vendor performance and drive continuous improvement in quality, cost, and service. Support the Purchase-to-Pay team to deliver an integrated procurement service.Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field; professional certifications are a plus. Experience: 7–10 years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in IT/Telecom sourcing within an international environment. Proven success in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management. Experience managing complex projects and cross-functional collaboration.Key Skills & Competencies
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong knowledge of IT & Telecom products and supplier landscape. Proficiency in procurement tools (SAP MM module, Excel, SharePoint, etc.) Solid understanding of legal and compliance aspects of procurement contracts. Fluent in English; additional regional languages are a plus. Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement. Team-oriented, customer-focused, and results-driven.What we offer
