Lead Painter
**Job Title: Lead Painter** **Job Description** A manufacturer in Indianapolis is searching for a Lead Paint Technician to join their team on the 1st shift. **Responsibilities** + Supervise a small team and ensure materials are painted on-time. + Ensure proper masking, sandblast finish, and paint viscosity. + Read and comprehend basic work instructions. + Mix paint compounds per work instructions. + Rack parts in preparation for painting processes. + Perform basic spraying techniques to cover parts entirely. + Use oven and other drying techniques, including curing temperatures. + Remove parts from rack after paint process is completed. + Visually inspect finished products for wet processing defects. + Clean painting equipment after use. **Essential Skills** + Experience with spray guns and paint booths. + Strong leadership skills. + Proficiency in industrial painting and paint preparation. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with sprayers and industrial paint is advantageous. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a great work/life balance in a company that feels like family.
