What you’ll do:
As a Lead Network Technology Engineer, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical solutions and delivering network applications, services, or solutions in purpose-built, cloud-based, or hybrid environments, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability through detailed analysis and engineering models.
An experienced professional, recognized as an expert, creatively resolving complex issues with broad and in-depth knowledge. Leads significant projects with strategic autonomy, influencing executive decisions. Mentors less experienced staff, implements long-term plans impacting the organization, and frequently collaborates with senior leadership.
Understand evolving Mobility & Wireline architectures. Interpret business requirements, perform network modeling, and plan cost-effective technology solutions. Define subsystem interfaces, develop test plans, and assess vendor solutions.
Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Network Design and Architecture: Develop detailed network designs, plan and evaluate new technologies and enhancements, ensure scalability and efficiency, and recommend network architecture and strategy.
Implementation and Configuration: Deploy network infrastructure, develop test and implementation plans for hardware/software solutions, integrate new components, and lead design rollout to partner organizations.
Technology Evaluation: Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions for application to network systems.
Collaboration and Coordination: Work with stakeholders and domain teams, manage vendor relationships, provide architectural expertise, and guide cross-functional teams.
Project Management: Manage network projects, set priorities, prepare cost/benefit analyses, and use modeling and planning methodologies to develop strategic roadmaps.

5-8 years’ of related experience
Certification is required in some areas.
Desired Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Computer Sciences or Operations preferred.

Environmental Requirements: This position may be responsible for contributing to ATT compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.
Our Lead Network Technology Support earns between $116,700 - $196,100 annually. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
