The Lead Tech will perform MRI procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by, and at the request of, a licensed independent practitioner. They will alter imaging protocols at the request of Radiologists. The Lead Tech will work closely under the direction of the Radiologist and other physicians. **Essential Functions:** + Demonstrates team building and leadership behavior to accomplish tasks and organizational objectives. + Interviews and recommends applicants for employment. Provides orientation and in-service educational programs for MRI technologists. + Supervises MRI Technologists and models professional and leadership behavior to all personnel. + Evaluates and counsels MRI staff work performance according to hospital procedures. + Maintains proper staff levels and assigns call. + Completes assigned tasks in a time frame appropriate for the situation; demonstrates flexibility to fluctuation in workload.
