Major Accountabilities:
Responsibility for industrialization of Cockpit & Growth products from award phases until series productionSupport kick-off meetings and MSD workshops with/in the PML, create/adapt process flowDrive DFM and DFA to ensure having a producible designEnsure proper requirements management and align with APTIV CAQE accordingly, plan requirements transfer to PMLAlign industrialization deliverables with CAQE, being customer interface for technical discussionWork out the production line concept with optimized material flow, estimated cycle times, and traceability conceptWork out supplier packaging requirementsAttend the regular PDT meetings and drive a proper escalation in case of problemsCreate and maintain the MFGE project schedule respecting the project milestonesPrepare and organize the milestone build dates with process engineers from PML, starting with early prototype builds and organization of needed prototype equipment, including documentationAttend key (prototype) build events for new layouts and all customer attended eventsDrive and track P-FMEA, respecting Functional Safety aspects with related documentationPlan needed equipment / technology, work out SOW and manage equipment procurementTrack needed equipment and tooling, ensure availability of needed material for all equipment/tool development, install equipment/design reviews before approving start of fabrication/developmentPerform equipment buy-off at suppliers and request PML process engineers to attend and approve as needed, drive capability studies, create list of key parameters to be transferred to quality planPlan product and process/equipment training and handover to PML, starting after PV readinessAttend needed escalation meetings on program management level with prepared reports and options for resolutionQualifications:Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive industry, preferred in manufacturing engineeringExperience in Manufacturing Processes (automotive preferably)Bachelor degree or similar with technical educationExcellent project management skillsGood problem solving capabilityAbility to work and live a global network environmentGreat knowledge of lean conceptsStrong team spiritEnergetic, self-motivated, and proactive working styleWhy join us?
