**Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Lead**
**Job Description**
Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled daily, weekly, quarterly, and yearly using a PM computer system and paperwork. Responsible for understanding and executing full equipment breakdowns in any necessary PM event, and determining any frequency change in PM structure for production equipment based on knowledge and experience. Lead training for team members on all plant-wide PMs and assist in planning and executing repairs and/or replacements of facility equipment, such as compressors, boilers, and HVAC units. Respond quickly to emergency situations, perform setup, takedown, and reconfiguration of production equipment and furniture, and fabricate lines, conveyors, machine equipment, and tools used in production areas.
**Responsibilities**
+ Supervise and mentor maintenance staff; provide hands-on training and performance guidance
+ Assign personnel based on operational priorities and facility needs
+ Coordinate and lead facility improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and new installations
+ Manage inventory and procurement of maintenance supplies and tools
+ Develop and oversee maintenance schedules, ensuring timely execution of tasks
+ Administer daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual PM routines using digital systems and documentation
+ Perform routine tasks: replacing filters and lights, lubricating components, adjusting belts, replacing wheels/castors
+ Perform daily facility walkthroughs to identify issues and ensure operational readiness
+ Inspect boiler and air compressor systems for oil levels, pressure, leaks, temperature, and water quality
+ Monitor electrical systems and respond to alarms or outages
+ Execute repairs on plumbing, lighting, furniture, doors, and building hardware
+ Support emergency response efforts and coordinate additional resources when needed
+ Reconfigure production equipment and office setups as required
+ Design and fabricate custom production lines, conveyors, and tools
+ Operate fabrication equipment: welders, torches, band saws, drill presses, pneumatic and cordless tools
+ Perform diagnostics, adjustments, and repairs on production machinery
+ Replace motors, belts, and other mechanical components as needed
+ Assist with machine disassembly and reassembly during cleaning and maintenance cycles (CIP)
+ Ensure all maintenance activities comply with local codes, safety regulations, and company policies
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and schematic reading.
+ Ability to read and understand electrical wiring diagrams.
+ Experience with PLC troubleshooting and ladder logic.
+ Skilled in computer technology, electronics, and automation technology.
+ Ability to troubleshoot electrical controls and related process issues.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in reading and interpreting electrical wiring diagrams.
+ Ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
+ Experience with fabrication tools such as band saws, torches, and welders.
**Work Environment**
The position operates on a second shift schedule from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, Sunday through Thursday, and Tuesday through Saturday. Third shift operates from 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM, Sunday through Thursday, and Tuesday through Saturday. You will work alongside a team including Lead Mechanics, Mechanic Level 2, Mechanic Level 1, and Maintenance Supervisors. The role involves using various tools and equipment including forklifts, scissor lifts, electric pallet jacks, and electric hoists.

This is a Permanent position based out of Ontario, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $87360.00/yr.
This will be provided by Addy on August 11th
**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in Ontario,CA.
