Job Title: Lead Machine Operator
Job Description

The Machine Operator Lead plays a vital role in supporting management by leading various departments. This position focuses on training employees, ensuring quality standards, maintaining sanitation and food safety standards, and monitoring production metrics. The Machine Operator Lead may be assigned to different areas based on business needs.

ResponsibilitiesTrain employees to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills.Achieve and maintain quality standards across the departments.Ensure compliance with sanitation and food safety standards.Monitor and report on production metrics to management.Adapt to different departmental needs as required by business operations.Essential SkillsExperience in production and machine operation.Strong general labor skills.Proficient in data entry and inventory management.Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).Familiarity with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).Work Environment

This role is based in an onion plant environment, where the work is both indoors and outdoors. It requires adaptability to varying conditions and a focus on safety and efficiency.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Weiser, Idaho.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.40 - $24.60/hr.
