**Overall Purpose:**
Oversees and optimizes the logistics and supply chain vendor management process to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and compliant transportation and distribution services.
**Key Roles and Responsibilities:**
Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
+ Vendor Relationship Management and Performance Monitoring: Develop and maintain strategic and tactical relationships with logistics vendors, monitor their performance against established targets, and implement corrective actions as needed.
+ Process Improvement and Implementation: Define, design, and implement logistics processes and strategies, leading initiatives to improve efficiency and support key strategic goals.
+ Contract Negotiation and Compliance: Lead contract negotiations with vendors, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with legal and regulatory standards, and provide financial analysis support.
+ Project Leadership and Collaboration: Lead multiple logistics projects, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and act as a Subject Matter Expert for supply chain initiatives and product launches.
+ Reporting, Analysis, and Problem Resolution: Conduct sophisticated financial and operational analysis, prepare reports, resolve complex problems, and support the development of goals and budgets.

Leads significant projects with strategic autonomy, influencing executive decisions. Implements long-term plans impacting the organization and frequently collaborates with senior leadership.

**Education/Experience:**
Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 5+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
**Compensation:**
Our Lead Logistics Vendor Manager earns between $94,300 - $141,500 USD annually. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
