**Job Title: Laser Cutter Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Laser Cutter Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in laser cutting or a combination of leadership experience and technical proficiency. The role involves using laser equipment to cut, bend, punch, or bore through metal materials. **Responsibilities** + Use laser equipment to cut, bend, punch, or bore through metal materials. + Set up and select cutting programs and fixtures, establish stop locations, and adjust the laser beam focal point. + Perform maintenance, repair equipment, and reorder supplies as necessary. + Conduct quality control checks on parts for accuracy and report any defective materials. + Package and ship parts efficiently. + Monitor stock levels, organize and clean the work area, and assist other departments as needed. + Follow safety rules and wear appropriate safety equipment. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read a tape measure and micrometer. + Experience with nesting software and blueprint reading. + Proficiency in laser operation and laser cutting. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with crane and forklift operation. + Leadership experience in a relevant field. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy competitive wages with minimal management oversight, allowing for independent work throughout the day.
