Our inventory coordinators use data analytics and planning tools to optimize supply chain performance, ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time. **A Day in the Life** + Analyze data and make recommendations to achieve profitability, customer service, and inventory goals + Develop and maintain site-specific metrics to ensure inventory plans are achieved + Identify and craft new planning tools in conjunction with the supply chain team; implement changes resulting from analysis + Analyze, monitor, and update supplier and transport lead-times + Coordinate, approve, and process annual physical inventory and quarterly cycle counts + Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies + Provide inventory management support for all customer and affiliate sites + Provide strategic mentorship to management on supply chain optimization + Write work instructions or procedures and conduct training + May perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor **Keys to Success** **Education** High school diploma or equivalent required. Degree or certification in inventory management, supply chain, or related field a plus. **Experience** 2-4 years' experience in inventory planning, supply chain, or related function. Laboratory setting experience preferred. GLP/GMP experience a plus. **Knowledge, Skills, Abilities** + Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities + Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel + Experience with SQL Server Management Studio or other data mining tools preferred + Familiarity with inventory control methods and lean methodologies preferred + Effective communicator, adaptable to operational changes, and passionate about quality, efficiency, and problem-solving + Flexibility with hours and ability to travel overnight if required **Physical Requirements / Work Environment** Hybrid role - primarily remote with occasional on-site work at customer locations and office environments. Personal protective equipment, such as lab coats, coveralls, facemasks, and steel-toe shoes, may be required when visiting certain areas.
