About this role:
Wells Fargo is looking for Lead Infrastructure Engineer.
In this role, you will:
Lead complex initiatives to develop infrastructure to provide solutions for business applicationsParticipate in various projects intended to continually improve or upgrade the infrastructureEvaluate internal and external software solutions which could be leveraged to meet target state architecture goalsReview and analyze high impact outages to ensure the proper processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the futureDesign, build, deploy and maintain infrastructure solutions through collaborative efforts with the team and thirdparty vendorsDesign, code, test, debug, and document programs using Agile development practicesMake decisions in technical designs, implementation plans and identify project risks and resource requirementsDirect the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures, and work standards to ensure successRecommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and achieve resultsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsInteract with customers and vendorsCollaborate with Solutions Architects and Principal Engineers to assess new solutions, certify releases, and make recommendations on go-forward strategies in the Operating Systems Engineering space.Partner with operational support, providing guidance and Level-3 support as needed.Interface with Platform Owners, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and peers to deliver projects/deliverables identified in quarterly roadmaps.Partner with peers across various other Enterprise Platforms (Compute, Storage, Containers, Virtualization, Hardware, Public Cloud, Networking, Middleware, Messaging, Caching, Databases, Schedulers, File Transfer Services, CyberSecurity, etc) to deliver cross-platform solutions.Produce actionable reports and deliver concise technical and business presentations to your peers, managers and leadership team.Document processes, procedures, and policies regarding your platform’s operation in Enterprise Confluence or equivalent platforms for others to reference.Coach and mentor your peers and operational support teams to raise their level of delivery.Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in an enterprise Windows Server OS environment in large scale data centers5+ years of Windows Server OS engineering experiencePlatform engineering (physical and virtual, and on-prem and hybrid cloud)Certification and release of Windows OS images, OS patch bundlesGPO engineeringAutomation (infrastructure automation, process automation, infrastructure orchestration)3+ years of experience with VMware3+ years of experience with automation (any 2 – Ansible, Salt, Python, PowerShell)Experience delivering Azure Virtualization and modernization programs.Experience with Prisma integrations for vulnerability and drift automation.Experience designing platform-wide observability dashboards and analytics pipelines.Certifications: CKA/CKAD, Terraform Associate, Azure/GCP Professional.Job Expectations
