Job responsibilities

Manage client and stakeholder relationships, including consultations and expectation settingContribute to process improvement by updating documentation and runbooksProvide advanced troubleshooting and support for proxy issuesCollaborate with IT and business teams to align proxy solutions with organizational goalsBuild standardized change implementation templates to improve change management

Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience8+ years of hands-on experience in installation, migration and decommission suite of Broadcom (erstwhile Bluecoat) devices including Proxy SG, Secure Web Gateway (ISG), Symantec Content Analysis Systems (CAS), SSL Visibility appliances and Symantec Management Center (SMC).Experience with other SaaS based Secure Gateway vendor e.g.  Zscaler, Netskope etcAbility to build, test and deploy proxy-based security solutionsGood understanding of network infrastructure, network security concepts and application layer protocols (http/https) and vulnerability mitigationGood understanding of REST API and container-based deployment models.Proficient in use of SEIM tools for investigate purposesScripting skills for automation of a Proxy environment and understanding and comfortable working on shell/python scripts and Ansible playbooks.Expertise of networking fundamentals including Network topology, VLANs, Routing, Switching, Global/Local Load Balancing and Firewalls.Ability to collaborate with different roles and different levels across different teams to achieve common goals and ensure end to end project deliveryDemonstrated leadership and collaboration skills in a large enterprise environment
